Congratulations to Jack Hall for receiving the Rotary Club’s April Student of the Month honors! Jack holds a terrific 4.092 GPA and has made the Principal’s List/High Honor Roll every marking period since freshman year. Jack has a love of history and English, and aspires to major in law in college.
Jack is involved in a plethora of extracurriculars and volunteerism. Some of the more notable selfless hours Jack has spent has been with JusticeworX in Dunlow, WV, Alex’s Lemonade Stand and The Valerie Fund, as well as attending NJ Boys State and various school-wide fundraising events.

Congratulations to Thomas Spallone for the well-deserved of the Rotary Club’s April Student of the Month! Tom holds an impressive 3.940 cumulative GPA and has made the Principal’s List/high honor roll nine times since freshman year. Tom has a love of math and wants to pursue a degree in business in college.
Tom is involved in many clubs, including campus ministry, broadcasting club, and JusticeworX, an organization who builds houses for the poor in various states. Tom is a member of his parish and volunteers in many different roles. He is an alter server as well as being an integral part of his parish’s youth group. For the past four years, Tom has also been a bible camp counselor and has interned in the summer school office. Each summer, Tom has also volunteered in the school office at his grammar school in preparing the classrooms for the upcoming school year.

As a member of the Saint Joseph High School Campus ministry, Daniel Gomez has always been in community service. He has been part of the JusticeWorx program that has built homes in New Hampshire, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Daniel is part of his local parish's CYO and assists at food pantries and helps with the elderly in his community. Daniel has also spent time during his summer's tutoring non English speaking children the English language. Compassion and leadership are two traits that Daniel really shows and they can be seen in all that he does.
Ian is a high achieving individual, excelling academically and in all extra curricular activities. He is a member of a number of National Honor societies and has won awards for academic excellence in Math and Science. He is very passionate about helping others and can regularly be found volunteering in and around his local community. Ian works with his local library organizing book drives and collecting donations. He is also very active as part of Elijah's promise soup kitchen. Ian is always helping preparing the dining rooms, cleaning up and making the whole experience enjoyable for the soup kitchen's guests.
Congratulations to Garrett Smith on being selected as the Rotary Club Student of the Month for February! Garrett holds a most impressive 4.488 cumulative GPA and has made the Principal’s List/high honor roll every marking period since freshman year. He is a member of the National Honor Society, and is Saint Joe’s chapter’s secretary, and is also a member of Science NHS. Garrett has a love of science and is looking forward to majoring in kinesiology or exercise science in college.
Garrett is involved in many volunteering projects in his hometown of Metuchen. He volunteers with his parish in the food pantry by making and distributing food baskets to the less fortunate. He also assists the director of Christian Education with Sunday School, vacation bible school and helps run various youth group projects. Garrett has also participated as an instructor for Buddy Ball for the last four years, has fundraised for the Saint Baldrick’s Foundation since 10th grade, and has ran for the Jingle Bell 5K run to benefit the Arthritis Foundation since his freshman year. Garrett Smith is a terrific example of volunteerism, and the Saint Joe’s community congratulates him in becoming the Rotary Club Student of the Month of February!
Aidan Formisano has excelled throughout high school. Academically he has done very well, but his efforts stand out most in his desire to serve others. In school he constantly strives to help his peers in the classroom and also as a tutor. Outside of school, his most significant contributions have been working with the Special Olympics New Jersey. Aidan takes great pride volunteering as a trainer and aid in this organization. Aidan has a constant drive to make a positive difference in people's lives any way he can. He hopes to attend college to study computer and informational sciences and will of course , continue to do as much as possible to help his peers and local organizations make people's lives better
Diljeet Khokher is January Student of the Month, a young scholar who has earned numerous honors at Saint Joseph’s. Among these are National, Latin, Technical, and Science Honor Societies. He has been an active participant in many activities as well. He is leader of our Robotics Team, member of Model United Nations, Peer Mentor, Varsity Volleyball team manager and member of five academic clubs. Diljeet tutors after school, teaches music(percussion instruments), teaches Punjabi(Sikh language), makes food for the poor, with a friend promoted the Science Olympiad Club, and is considering a career in Civil Engineering. Diljeet is a busy young man who has earned recognition for his efforts. Congratulations Diljeet!
Thomas McNulty is January Student of the Month, a title so well deserved. He is a good student and outgoing young man who has made multiple contributions to our school and the community. He is Student Council Vice President, Senior Broadcaster, Campus Ministry Lector, and Peer Mentor. In the community, Tom is an Eagle Scout, Roller Hockey participant and referee, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and Altar Server at his church. Nothing is too difficult for Tom. He hopes to pursue a career as a lawyer and his talent for public speaking and optimistic nature will serve him well. He is a wonderful young man and an excellent representative for Student of the Month. Congratulations Tom!
