Andrew McHale is the Student of the Month for October. Andrew is an outstanding student who is an excellent role model for other students at Saint Joseph High School. He is a bright, compassionate, determined, and hardworking young man whose compassion is demonstrated daily. Besides all the clubs he is active with at school and in the community(High School Baseball and year long Travel Baseball, Latin Club, Students Against Distracted Driving, Photography Club), he has been an active volunteer for the Wounded Warriors Project, Justiceworx in Trenton (building houses for the disadvantaged), Merrill Park Baseball League volunteer and TASK(Trenton Areas Soup Kitchen). He has also held part-time jobs freshman through senior year. Andrew is to be commended for all that he does in school and in the community. He has certainly earned this honor. Sean McMenamin is October’s Student of the Month. He is an excellent student who has taken numerous honors classes, made the Honor Roll and Principal’s List and National Honor Society. In addition to his scholastic achievements, Sean has been involved in several clubs and activities(Astronomy, Model UN, Workout and Training Club, American Legion, and Peer Mentor)and sports(Varsity Rowing, Flag Football, and Swimming) and is extremely generous of his free time volunteering at food banks, tutoring, and nursing home activities. He is also an Eagle Scout who earned his designation at the age of fifteen. Sean is to be congratulated for his successes both as a student, at school, and in the community. Congratulations to Sean McMenamin. He is well-deserving of this honor.
