Academic Areas
The Health and Physical Education program consists of instruction in health education, motor vehicle driving, and physical activities. The goals of the programs are to promote physical, emotional, mental, and social health; to prepare students to handle to responsibilities of operating a motor vehicle; to increase each student's physical strength and endurance; to develop motor skills and other forms of efficient movement for sports participation; to develop team building exercises and sportsmanship; to promote knowledge and appreciation of games and physical activities; and to gain an understanding of first aid and safety and the needs of the human body.
