Our Mission - In response to the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Saint Joseph High School exists to provide a college preparatory, liberal arts education for young men in the traditions of the Catholic Church. We seek to make young men resilient and unafraid to pray.

  •  An amazing eighty-five percent of last year’s senior class received college scholarships totaling over $31 million. In the past five years, our seniors have earned over $130 Million in college scholarships.
  • An average of four students have been accepted to Ivy League institutions over the past five years.
  • SAT scores of Saint Joe’s students far outpace state and local averages.
  • Saint Joe’s academic teams (College Bowl, Mathematics, Robotics, Computers) annually earn state, regional and national recognition.  College Bowl won the state championship last year, and traveled to Chicago, IL for the national competition.
  • The Falcon Newspaper as well as the literary magazine the Vignette received national honors. 
  • Saint Joe’s inducted 36 students from the Class of 2011 into its Vox Sapientiae Chapter of the National Honor Society, which requires a 3.9 GPA and a commitment to service, leadership and character.  We also have honor societies in History, Languages, Science, and Art.
  • Football became the 14th varsity sport in the fall of 2011.
  • There are a total of 54 clubs and activities that complement the strong academic environment, offering talented students countless opportunities for challenge and growth. 
  • Community service is emphasized at Saint Joe’s.  During the past academic year, $16,000 were raised during the Thanksgiving Food Drive to feed over 400 families. Over 10,000 hours of community service were performed by our students.
  • The annual Christmas on Campus played Santa to 75 disadvantaged children, and Campus Casual days generated $25,000 to missions of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart as well as local and statewide charities.
  • Fully 10% of Saint Joe’s students receive financial aid to offset their tuition costs – largely with funds generated through the Annual Fund. Saint Joe’s also awards several partial scholarships from its endowment.
