Spanish National Honor Society
The Spanish National Honor Society is a service-oriented organization that recognizes students who have met the criteria of excellence in the Spanish language.

The members participate in various activities such as peer tutoring and community service that includes visiting a local nursing home with a large population of Spanish speaking residents. The group’s cultural activities include trips to NYC theaters and museums that have Spanish themes.

Membership in the SNHS is limited to those students who meet the established criteria, which includes a minimum of four semesters with an ‘A’ average in Spanish, and impeccable behavior record, and an acceptable essay written in Spanish. The group meets twice a month.
